Kavanaugh wasn’t revenge for Garland?
Trump’s psychology is easy: he has narcissistic personality disorder. Its blatantly obvious I think even his supporters would have to admit this as it fits Trump 100% without even a slight exception to any of it.
Here is a description from the Mayo clinic:
Narcissistic personality disorder — one of several types of personality disorders — is a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others. But behind this mask of extreme confidence lies a fragile self-esteem that’s vulnerable to the slightest criticism.
Absolutely agree. It’s not his psychology we’re discussing.
I actually get that, when people don’t care about Christian or Family Values, they can support someone like Donald Trump. It’s the people that go to church that confuse me.
The truth is that most trump supporters do not believe that. Be it here, facebook, twitter, other forums…the truth is you and I could not remain conservatives and be against Trump. We have to have completely changed sides…and we are now liberals by the very dislike of the President.
I’ve been told this over and over for the past year or more. If being “conservative” means supporting trump, then I guess, I am a libertarian then.
What’s the problem the left have had you defending their bad behavior for partisan reasons for years. They count on people like you to support them while they line their pockets with money.
For me it’s simple. Trump is a terrible person. He’s an ■■■■■■■■ But beyond that he embodies pretty much everything that so-called conservatives were supposed to be against. Yet here they are falling on their swords for him.
I still believe I have some very conservative beliefs. And would have considered a more pragmatic Republican if one were nominated. But voting for Trump was never gonna happen. In the end I don’t regret voting for Clinton. Trump has shown me that I was right about his behavior compared to my beliefs.
Everyone in his camp wants to label us as Trump-haters or as having TDS. I guess it’s easier to do that when you have no other argument. I just find it funny that, in an environment where people called President Obama a gay Kenyan Muslim Manchurian candidate who is married to a transgender man formerly named Michael, they want to try to belittle those who will mock Trump because he’s an inarticulate moron who can’t even give a speech without sounding like a retarded sloth. Funny how some people change when the party in power changes.
Excellent post.
Jezcoe:I don’t hate Trump either.
“Hate” is shorthand. I don’t want him to die or get his arms caught in a wheat thresher or anything.
Agreed.
Wouldn’t you love to actually see Trump down in Georgia hitting on some mechanic’s wife? That’s who he is.
I don’t hate Trump either.
Oldandtired:The man you just described fits almost every politician in DC left and right.
This is what it looks like when a partisan excuses bad behavior. People like Trump count on that support.
Even down to excusing that the President is limping along on half a cabinet, can’t attract even the D grade talent, has a pretty disastrous foreign economic policy… I guess our only saving grace is that we got this incompetence in an long period sustained economic instead of a crash like in 2009.
A Trump then would have been a complete disaster instead of mostly one.
I’m beginning to understand the root of the hatred. He gets in the mud with the libs. They’re used to republicans rolling over and now they’ve run into one of their own who knows their game and likes it.
He seems like he thrives on this environment.
As a person, he is a disgusting individual, but that can’t be it. They’ve had that before and never stopped loving.
He is a caricature of a NYC dem. All the bad magnified to the point of absurdity. Stripped of the veneer of civilized behavior.
It really is fascinating.
There are photos after photos of him with the “famous” people who loved him before he was president. Many of them praised him, looked to him for financial support, were happy to take his money , used his influence, invited him on their shows, to their personal events, and the list goes on and on. Now they hate and despise him. He did not change, they did. The real life fakers.
I find the psychology of people who are looking for a “real man” finding their leader in a guy who was given everything, never turned a wrench in his life, and wears orange makeup everyday to be far more interesting…
As you said, he is disgusting, and you want to analyze why people are disgusted. Yeah, brilliant topic there.
I don’t consider him a “real man”. Men don’t act like that.
Can’t separate the policy from the personality?
He’s loud, obnoxious, entitled, has sex with other men’s wives, cheats people out of money, lies, uses Christians for votes and has never done an honest day’s work.
It’s a good thing he didn’t grow up in West Texas. He’d probably had his ass beaten 50 times by now.
All true, every word.
That’s why I said years ago sit back and enjoy the ride, it’s going to be interesting.
He knows how they played the game.
And libs don’t like it.
I actually get that, when people don’t care about Christian or Family Values, they can support someone like Donald Trump. It’s the people that go to church that confuse me.
One doesn’t need to be religious to have a moral compass.
In some senses it is easier to use religion to excuse immorality.
See also… all of history.
All the while blaming the other side for the choice that they made.
It is quite strange.
Again, I’m not blaming the libs for Trump.
You created a thread about obama having a gay lover and doing coke.
Again why are we putting up with this here at hannity…?
But beyond that he embodies pretty much everything that so-called conservatives were supposed to be against.
Such as?
Yes, he seems unable to separate his personality from policy, and I have a problem with that.
Blame the republicans…for allowing libs to walk all over em.
Hopefully they’re taking notes.
