Yes, i see a trend where people make it personal, and attack the person in their reply, with no other context or discussion.
It’s getting so one person offers a differing view and they are made the target. If you disagree, then offer a defense of your position, telling the other person they are essentially ignorant and clueless, is not discussion, it’s a personal attack, and it’s lazy.
