It’s a tool I use to point out the absurd. :wink: I have no issues with your choice of pronoun usage, but it’s obviously not protecting your community from anything. My main complaint about the whole thing is that smart people like you and I spend time talking about it instead of issues that actually matter.

Of course it does. Smaller communities are the only places left in this country where a child can be raised by a mom and a dad, have spirituality in their lives, and know that boys are boys and girls are girls.

Okay, but I thought we were just talking about pronoun usage? Refusing to call a transgender woman a woman doesn’t make her disappear.

I live in the woods 15 miles north of the county’s largest “city,” which has about 2,500 people.

If a transgender woman (a person born male who now identifies as female) asks me to refer to her as a woman and use feminine pronouns, I’ll do so with no issue. If that same person tells me they want to compete against women in a weightlifting contest, I would not support her. Sports are segregated by gender for real and legitimate reasons.
