Judge closes down female power lifting event because males are not allowed

It’s really not.

Supporting crazy in real life is why we have so many flaming nutbags running loose. :man_shrugging:

Call it what you want, I’m not advocating for you to do anything. As I said, I choose to call people what they want to be called, I don’t care what you do.

Oh, you’re a do-gooder? :joy:

Yes, if you just refuse to call people by their preferred pronouns, they’ll stop being “nutbags.”

Calling people what they want to be called is not the same as destroying women’s sports, by calling a biological Man, a Women.

“Calling a biological Man, a Women” is not “destroying women’s sports.” I don’t think men who identify as women should compete in women’s sports unless the competitors and organizers want it that way, as I said several times in this thread. But calling people what they prefer to be called is a separate issue.

It is, when biological Men who call themselves women, easily beat biological women and win the prize. The contradiction is absurd and delusional.

No, you’re not following. I do not support men who identify as women competing women’s sports. On that we agree. But that has nothing to do with pronouns.

So all this talk about pronouns is off topic? and you are actually speaking out against the delusion of Men in women’s sports?

Accepting the delusion of “preferred pronouns” is what has created the mess in women’s sports.

Everyone has preferred pronouns. What are yours?

Incorrect.

Pronouns are dictated by sex (as related to any particular language), a physical trait, not by delusions and mental illness.

All this talk about pronouns stems from Bìxià trying to correct my use of pronouns. Maybe go back and read the thread and see for yourself?

No, pronouns are a completely separate issue. I can call people what they prefer to be called and still support women’s sports for women only.

Language usage is not “dictated.”

When talking about biological men in women’s sports, using their “preferred pronoun” is kind of wacky.

Okay. Like I said, and I can’t stress this enough, I don’t care what you do or how you refer to people. That’s your decision.
