All criminal acts were made criminal by legislation.
Yes - because it’s a crime. It’s a bad thing.
You are trying to frame it as innocently as possible, in order to feed your narrative need for persecution. It’s like framing rape as “an act of physical love.”
There is no argument. The DOJ presented the charges outlined in the indictment. Seditious conspiracy. I would guess others will get indicted in a similar way. They will all have their day in court.
Oh, I don’t see that relationship to rape at all. You consider rape to be physical love?
If you want to call their action an alleged political crime, I’m ok with that.
Are you sure I’m the one with the narrative who has to have their actions described using just the right way for emotional satisfaction?
I’m thinking someone else.
Their actions are clearly political if as alleged, but you don’t want that word used.
Denied.
Interesting. I have never been upset if someone described the actions of left wing arsonists or antifa as political.
Y’all seem really excited about the charge of seditious conspiracy. Let the DOJ know you are really excited. Maybe they’ll take it into account when it’s your turn.
It’s more about how desperate you guys are to qualify it as “political” - to fit the narrative that they (and all other right wingers, all the time, in every context) are being persecuted for the political beliefs, rather than prosecuted for the criminal acts they’re accused of.
The charges are simply confirming what we have already known- that militant right wing groups conspired to end the Republic. What’s good to know is that the DOJ has assembled enough evidence that they think they can win the case.
That’s good news for anyone who supports this country.
And yet I never have a hissy fit if someone accuses left wing arsonists or antifa crimes as political. How long have you had this feeling about the word “political”?
