The man’s name is Aaron Bushnell, and he is reportedly active-duty Air Force:
Aaron Bushnell identified himself in the livestream video as he walked toward the Israeli embassy as “an active duty member of the U.S. Air Force” adding that “I will no longer be complicit in genocide.” He then lit himself ablaze and yelled “FREE PALESTINE!” over and over. He has reportedly died.
As he burned up, uniformed personnel screamed at him to get on the ground. One officer has a gun drawn on Aaron until after he collapses.
Finally another officer says: “I don’t need guns, I need fire extinguishers!”

In my humble opinion a sane individual doesn’t set themself on fire. You are free to disagree.

Uhm Muslims do it all the time. Hell they ■■■■■■■ make up ■■■■ that isn’t even in the Quran to justify their hatred towards Israel.
The US has supported jihadist groups in Syria and Afghanistan, but Israeli jihadists are in the official government and receive far more funding.
The irony is that both Jewish and Islamic jihadists are fine with killing Christians.
What possible reason is there for Americans to fund these groups?

First responders do it all the time. Surely you aren’t implying that all first responders are insane. 
The Hamas supporter who set himself on fire was not a hero, although it doesn’t surprise that you would think otherwise.
Stated Israeli policy is not to wipeout the Palestinian people. It is to wipeout Hamas. That is a fact.
