We have no known cases where they’ve publicly beheaded someone they consider an infidel (in the “infidels” own country). We have no evidence that they don’t sponsor terrorism. If they gave up the right to have enhanced uranium, as all Presidents prior to 2015 had demanded, they would have had sanction relief. That is what was in its place. Trump was clear. A fecklessly weak deal, where ‘abiding by the deal’ is a very, very low bar, when military bases were off limits, you had to give 24 day notice and Iran would have to give the okay in order for to be checked on, to hide, move their nuclear stuff elsewhere, perhaps to a military base, and can not be verified. Israel didn’t like it, Saudia Arabia didn’t like it. Other Arab countries, except vassals Syria, didn’t like it. Because what they had would lead to nuclear development. Even after the 15 years, they are officially allowed to get nuclear weapon capability, even though there is no real serious way to check it in the meantime. But hey, they threaten the President, and get enhanced uranium 6 times that was allowed, Biden seems to say, no problem, because he has not said a thing. But in any case, you said Biden should ‘kill the nuclear deal with Iran.’ realize the deal should be canceled… Then you must be for enhancing the sanctions.
If only we had a deal in place that kept that from happening.

Kept what from happening. The verification procedures allowed, were worthless and all those people who say that Iran was abiding by the agreement, know that the agreement has absolutely no teeth. Real verification procedures mean that an inspector can go to any place, any time to see if there were any developments that violated the agreement. Military bases, off limits, only certain locations were allowed to be chedked on, and then you have 24 days to check Iran, Iran has to give the okay to check on the limited locations that the inspecters could have access tod one can make it 54 days instead of . even 24 days. So saying they are abiding such a feckless deal made it worthless:

BTW, it was not a treaty so this was never binding. Obama never submitted it as a treay because a treaty requires 67 votes, and he knows he had nowhere near 67 votes. Thus, it was not binding on Trump.

Ok. Then it was never binding on Iran either. Trump broke the agreement so the Iranians felt justified in doing as they pleased.
You have to admit, Trump pulling out and never renegotiating a replacement was unfortunate.
Did he handle it perfectly of course not. Now, he had always let everybody know that he intended to withdraw from this agreement. But yes he could have sent someone to communicate directly with Iran, and here are the grounds for me keeping to this, and for sanctions to not be reimposed, at least talk it over perhaps, and at least give them the chance to respond. Probably get the same result but yes it would have been better if he at least gave them a chance.
It will all depend on if Iran has an Oil & Gas company that Hunter can sit on the board of and be paid lots of money to do nothing.

Then maybe Trump shouldn’t have pulled out as we have nothing to stop Iran at this point.
The treaty was so flawed, we had nothing to stop them when they were in the agreement. That is why Israel and all the Arab countries were against it as they were most at risk. European allies giving them sanction relief is what is hurting right now, though why Europe helps Iran when they are already breaking the agreement even when is beyond me. Again, the agreement we have to get their consent and anywhere from 24 to 54 days to check only limited nuclear facilities. We were not allowed to look at military facilities all during the agreement. Iran was coming to us when Obama was President, and begging for relief from the sanctions. We had them over the barrel, but Obama abandoned the long held US policy of telling them no nuclear capability, us allowing them to have it, is what started this problem. Right when we had them in a weak position. Totally ignored their contribution to Middle East terror. We through Obama/Biden gave them the ok and in 2030 no restrictions at all according to the agreement. Getting back to the agreement would fracture the relationship with our Arab allies who have made agreements with Israel. Giving them relief on sanctions will give them even more money to fund terrror throughout the Middle East. Europe helping Iran on sanction relief now is hurting us. Not a word from Biden who apparently wants to get back into this tremendously flawed agreement while they break the agreement and threaten to kill the current president. Only pressure, pressure, pressure, and cutting off financial assistance to Iran (which Europe gives them via sanction relief and Biden will give them if he gets back into this flawed deal) can get them to stop.
Perhaps Trump should have gotten agreement from Europe before pulling out of the agreement?
Bottom line, during the agreement Iran wasn’t enriching uranium to 20%, now they are. Thanks Trump!
