That’s the problem.
Wild out of control spending that establishment creatures in both parties want to go on no questions asked.
You are a “traitor” (in their eyes) to even question their spending.

No but they all didn’t vote for McCarthy either.
blaming the dems for ousting McCarthy.
this is all on Gaetz.
it was his call to have a vote not the democrats.
blaming the dems is a total and unmitigated deflection from the true culprit.
Allan
You can really blame it all on accepting an insane rule that one individual can call to vacate the office. They handed the keys to the bombthrowers. And that rule can’t be changed unless Gaetz and his pals agree to change it.
Here is a list of Republican congressmen and their voting records from Jan-Dec 2020
Notice that Kevin McCarthy voted on the extreme left of the GOP.
He voted with his party LESS THAN half the time.

2020? can we have the stats since he has been speaker.
Allan
I don’t have them available.
But feel free to post them if you find them.
Hypothesis:
Since Kevin McCarthy was on his party’s extreme left before he became speaker
he probably did not have a life-changing about face after coming to the speaker’s chair.
More likely, he used his position to force/prioritize his views, (which we see from 2020 data are more inline with the Dems despite the fact that Kevin McCarthy inexplicably had an ‘R’ next to his name.)
So, as speaker, he controlled the GOP agenda, moved the GOP agenda to the left and then voted in line with the party’s new left-leaning agenda.
Could I possibly be wrong?
Are they getting there information from Committee of responsible federal budget…the one that Obama had created?
Limiting federal spending to necessities. Build that wall. Dissolve the FBI… MAGA. Haven’t you been listening.
Yes that’s all good and well. In fact I agree with it. But your frustrations should be with Trump, pretty boy Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell. Or with Bush, John Boehner and Trent Loft/Bill Frist.
They aren’t smart… that’s the whole point.
Democrats would be better chess players, I agree.
The sad part is that in their corrupted mind they resort to all kinds of shemes and lies to speed-up the process and that makes them not nice people to join or have around.

So, you at least admit Gaetz has a plan. Good.
So, you at least admit Gaetz has a plan. Good.
No…he doesn’t have a plan. That’s the problem. If he did he would have convinced lot more republicans to join him instead of relying on democrats.

Your false dichotomy slip is showing.
Gaetz has a plan that entails Republicans budgeting transparently and responsibly and pork-fat-shaming the Dems. Many other DC-ised Reps are struggling to wean themselves off the pork barrel.
gooddad409:Jordon would be my 1st choice. The libs and a few rino’s are certainly stamping their feet but i look at it as a good thing replacing McCarthy with a conservative who will not forget his promises and who will not be so chummy with the woke libs and biden.
We will probably have a new speaker within a couple weeks.
Jordan would definitely be interesting. I assume he would be willing to allow the government to default unless Dems agree to a long list of demands. I could see him getting the votes.
There’s no way Dems through McCarthy over for freakin’ Jim Jordan!?
There’s no way Dems through McCarthy over for freakin’ Jim Jordan!?
But maybe some Reps will throw Jim Jordan out for the Dem minority leader, if the Reps don’t all get behind one of their own who is also pro Trump.
Your false dichotomy slip is showing.
If that’s his why doesn’t your boy step up to plate and lead…or is he to much of a ■■■■■■■ coward?

People who have lost the argument resort to ad hominem attacks.

Did you mean Democrats “Threw” …?
If you did I agree with you. Also…More Likely:
Not one Democrat will help with Jim Jordan getting the job.
And add few rhinos and “In-name-only-Republicans” there is a slim if none chance for a Freedom Cocus candidate.
Mc Carthy himself barely squized him self in.
Rhinos and scorned Republicans will join Democrats and elect Jeffries.
