I posted a thread about this topic a week ago, as much I despise Putin it’s not in his countries best interest to have Ukraine join either the EU or NATO. Since the collapse of the Soviet union countless former Soviet Union countries have joined NATO and the EU which is great but right now they are talking about the Ukraine which at the northern point is 300 miles from Moscow, Russia is not going to let that happen and neither would we.
You don’t have to admire or like Putin to see common sense. If the tables were reversed we wouldn’t let China or Russia start parking first strike missiles in Mexico. And he is not going to let that happen at best what will happen is Russia will go in and take more territory from the Ukraine and we will apply sanctions not sure how that helps the Ukrainians. What can we do they have more nukes than every country in the world were not going to go to war with Russia.

The topic of why Putin loves his country so much is now about the supposed Platform of the Democrats of defunding the police when no one can point to one Democrat who has voted that way when a vote has come up.
It’s almost like there is a propaganda apparatus feeding the randomness of the litany of complaints in threads like this…. You know…. Threads that are about how Putin is a real leader.
