That’s what I keep thinking. If attacking Schiff’s parody speech is the best line of attack Trump can muster, maybe he really is in trouble.
Perhaps a TRANSCRIPT highlighting the part where he “very clearly stated what he was reading was NOT what the president said” would clear this right up so we can stay focused on other things.

I agree…but I don’t think it will ever get to senate. But if it does it won’t be until late spring or early summer.
The senate is basically a trial with subpoena powers. So the will drag this out as long as they can to harass Trump administration while Trump can’t fight back.
It’s a fake impeachment.

Yep. He makes it clear he wants to impeach a President based on what he, Schiff, made up. A flagrant lie misrepresenting what the President said.
Do you wonder at all why he did that? Why he didn’t read directly from the “incriminating” memo? Because if he had done that, everyone listening would have wondered what the heck this was all about.
So instead he does what some poster thinking they are funny would do hear: Totally make something up and then say it is in essence what some politician they dont like said…
and they would be called for doing that.
Schiff doesn’t need to be censured. At a minimum he needs to be put on some committee where he can do less harm.

Schiff’s explanation of the essence of Trump’s call is accurate. He never said that he was quoting Trump word for word.
The bolded here is far more of a misrepresentation of the truth than anything Schiff said.
