I was having a little fun, hence the emoji.
However, Trump did say that yesterday…said he told Pence not to take calls from governors who weren’t appreciative.
I’m sure Pence is still taking their calls anyway, but it was a rotten thing to say.
But I’ve long since dropped the idea that Trump can offer up even the illusion of being empathetic.
Thanks New York! Thousands of New Yorkers fled the city and flew to Florida in recent weeks. A couple of hundred plane loads before officials really made the connection and started to check them at landing and tell them they MUST self quarantine under penalty of law.

Trump, Pence and all of those involved are going to make sure the PEOPLE of the States get what they need to the best of their abilities in spite of the Governors playing politics at a time like this.

I actually blame the governor of Florida for a lot of this, with his virtue signaling closing of the beaches…AFTER he made sure Spring Breakers had three days to party there.
They’re all playing politics…President Trump included.
That was pretty bad. A lot of those kids are sick now too, and no doubt some of their at risk relatives.
I know. We are on the list as one of the next hot spots.
Key West is turning away anyone not residing there. Smart move, IMO.
What do NY NJ and CA have in common besides being Lberal. Jam-packed with people in close proximity.
No one is saying that the US would not have been impacted by the coronavirus.
But if you’d ever bother to look at the timeline of Trump;s words to the nation, he spent the first two weeks downplaying it. Saying that peope didn’t have to worry because it was just the Dems trying to gin up panic.
You should read up on the symptoms of some of the people who have a severe case of this thing. It’s not pleasant.
And more young people are dying of it.

I’d also like to comment that if there was a thread titled Trump Plays Through While Americans Die, it would be deleted in a heart-beat as TDS.
But someone makes a thread with a misleading title of Clinton “cheering Americans dying” - rather than just pointing out that the US has leapfrogged over everyone in coronavirus cases, and there’s no CDS cited for removal of this thread.
At the very least the title of this thread should be changed to something more truthful.
“Hilary Blames Trump for Our #1 Position in Coronavirus Cases” perhaps. Leaves room to criticize her just the same and doesn’t mischaracterize what she said.
They did not follow the recommendations of no more than 10 in a group and social distancing.
Perhaps, with all of the other items on his plate he found out about it after day two… Who knows.
The point is, he shut it down. Local officials did the same.
Trump is the least politically correct person I can think of in the mix.
