What’s silly is THIS response:
to an OP about a SINGLE PERSON holding FOUR TEENAGERS at gun point. Not about left/right. Not about lib/con not about R/D. But in response to calling out a single person, OP and his ideology were accused. That’s silly. 
i was having a discussion with a couple friends/work associates on different occasions.
First was a black man. I asked home how many times he had been pulled over. His response…“this year?” it was around August IIRC, and I responded …with a tentative yes. he states it was 4-5 times. Funny, he also got pulled over for a broken tail light, in a new Ford Mustang.
Second, is a man from the Phillipines, but can certainly pass as a Mexican man. His response to the same question was the same…“this year?”.
I started to laugh, and i mentioned my previous conversation.
He then went on to tell me one of the times he was pulled over, he sat in his car and as he looked back, the police officer had his gun drawn, pointed at him. Thank gawd nothing happen
At nearly 55 years old, I estimate i have been pulled over maybe 10 times. Always for speeding, or failure to stop. On several of those occasions, I did not get a ticket.
But no, there is no such thing as white privilege.

The OP of this thread did nothing to attempt to conservatives as racist. It painted a SINGLE PERSON-the woman in the article-as racist. And then, in response, you said that OP and his ideology are ignoring their own racism. In other words, they’re the REAL racists-that’s what you said.

Right on the nose. Many of them are-and they’ll pull you over for speeding whether you’re driving a big pickup, or an SUV, or a Prius, whether you have a confederate flag, or a gay pride flag, or it’s a Ford or Chevy.
The cops who busted my former neighbor for making meth in his shed didn’t care that he was a redneck or drove a pick up 
Yeah. It’s weird. I drive a newer vehicle, keep my hair short, and I never get pulled over except when I’m doing something obvious to get pulled over for.
I never get followed around in stores, either.
A thread about four black kids living their lives being held at gunpoint by a white woman has morphed into being about how White people are victims.
Bonkers.
And she’s been arrested…tightly so.

The title should be “Idiot hold four teens at gun point fundraising for their high school football team”. And allow the readers to make that connection on their own.
It’s what I do sometimes.
Example
I do that to spark discussion without trying to influence the debate or outcome.
Sometime a pretty good discussion can be had…sometimes. 
And I hope they don’t forget to add her to NICS.
I think the motivation is part of the story.
Mentioning race in a story, that is fueled by someone acting in a racist manner, should not be controversial.
That is literally journalism 101. Present all the facts of the story, so the reader can come to their own conclusions.
But the OP made it about race and wanted to trigger a response…and with this it’s last I’m going to respond to this thread.
