I truly dislike when blanket statements (and I’ve been guilty of it) are used to cover one party because of a small group within that party that tends to make headlines or am the loudest.

When I see statements like “liberals want to silence the opposition”. That’s not true. There might be some. But most want other voices heard.

I feel that our country is very divisive, and it comes from both sides. Its only going to get worse. Every shooting, every person thrown out of a restaurant, every decision is always labeled with a political party affiliation. Why? Does it make some people feel better so they can point fingers?

Fair enough. And I do like your attitude. The problem is, the far left is drowning out any voice of reason. Reason is nowhere to be found in the conversation. I should have said the majority. Not all. For example: From my experience, the loudest of liberal voices want to label all conservatives a racists. With or without a shred of evidence. It’s a liberal obsession. I’m not actually advocating that they stop. The charge has been used so often and without merit that people are numb to it. It doesn’t help the liberal cause anymore. So libs should make it their top priority.

Problem with that is talk radio puts out this message of persecution and it is drummed into people’s heads so much that people lose their minds when we call a rally where they call for a race war when they are nice and comfy racist.

The only thing that would make it work is if everyone involved believed what other folks told them. Unfortunately there are many folks on both sides that have such a firm grasp on their view of the other side that it is difficult to change their minds.

To that I do not have an answer right now, but there has to be a way that every American can get some level of coverage without having to pay through the nose.

If they don’t get them they will likely move to where they can. A business had to balance expenses against income. If it’s too expensive to operate in one location they will move to where it’s cheaper. That’s not evil, it’s just business.

Ok, let them move. Or they can raise pricing. If its something people want, they will pay for it. Like the iPhone X. $1000 for a phone? Crazy. But people buy them.

The problem is not talk radio. The problem is that bad people label good people as racist without a shred of evidence. They seem to be holding back with their true agenda. Which to me appears to be the total destruction of capitalism. I think they favor government control of everything.

They defend this fascist agenda by labeling freedom lovers as the fascists. If they had their way, only liberal, government approved media would be allowed. Rush Limbaugh and Fox news would be banned. Only opinions supporting their socialist government would be legal. They have invented things such as hate speech, micro aggressions, white privilege etc. They use these to control thought and speech. Tthey alone are wise enough to define hate speech. And they define anything that opposes them as “hate.” Only their opinion counts. They avoid policy discussions which they will lose and focus on personal destruction.

They would destroy the rich by saddling them with the bills of the poor. Free health care and housing. Free everything.

They would eliminate resistance by banning firearms. They blame the NRA for the gun violence committed by non NRA criminal, mostly liberal illegal gun owners.

The whole idea that liberals love “brown people” more than conservatives do is a farce. If we were being invaded by millions of conservatives, we would already have a 50 ft. high wall. Brown, black, red yellow or green. They would be stopped. So in order to import the maximum number of new liberal voters, they inject racism and their love for “brown people” as the main factor. Which we all know this is a lie.

Silencing any dissenting opinion through harassment or violence. If that is not fascism then what is?

Attacking the voter rather than the candidate. This started with Obama and was accelerated by Hillary. (To be fair, some conservatives do this as well.)

This is why I vote republican even though I despise them. Because doing nothing as the republicans tend to do is 1000 times better than doing what the liberals want.
