Even with a Democrat Governor and all the restrictions and guidelines in place NJ is....well just look at the chart for yourself

Irrelevant. And I showed you why.

no you didnt.

Of course I did. It’s right there.

Here you go.

Well there is your logical fallacy.
The idea that a town of 500,000 and a town of 100,000 would have the same threshold for hospitals.
Logic dictates that the town of 500,000 would more then likely have 5x the capacity then a town of 100,000

El paso has about 650,000 people. They have about 360 ICU beds.
Waco Tax has a population of 160,000. They have 58 ICU beds

So 60 cases in WACO would be MUCH worse then 100 cases in El Paso.

what do you mean?

Right. CA has had more restrictions than FL. 505 out every million Californians have died from Covid, while 898 out of every million Floridians have dies from it. CA has had fewer of its citizens die from Covid, per capita, than 37 other states.

I KNEW it! I would have bet money! Here come the rationalizing variables.

Rejected. Patients can be moved.

Now I get to play variables. Account for social variables, all of them, in the two demographics. El Paso is 614 miles from Waco. That puts you past Atlanta. Don’t even try it.

You have a crew you are sending out right? Are they all equally competent, disciplined, etc?

I am not talking percentage of my population…I am talking about the percentage of my counties of operations. Those numbers change. My own numbers because of congregate housing…like long term care…is much higher… close to 20%.

Florida has dug 757 fewer graves. Florida wins.

Ok, then I’m confused. I don’t know what you do.

So…the point is Cal residents are contracting 50 percent more people then Fla despite lot stricter lockdowns.

Not sure why that matters. We are comparing states. Am i suppose to feel like something was proved. Yes -I used facts.
More populated areas and states have more capacity to handle covid.

This discussion is very off. Using population to determining how wide spread a pandemic is, is pretty basic. You yourself argued it in the start when people kept posting case numbers vs Europe. you would keep saying “What is the population of XYZ”

are you now saying you were wrong then??

I am talking about clients…all developmentally disabled. That is who I was talking about, not staff.

Our staff have had training, at least my staff have…I can’t speak for the other department directors…but I have. And no they are not all equal.

honestly in this field we scrape the bottom of the barrel sometimes. My staff I have had 14 staff test positive out of 100 to 110 at any time. And 8 of those were in the original outbreak I dealt with in May. The others have come sort of sporadically this fall from September to now. Where as my counterparts have not faired so well. I attribute my success there to training and constant reminders via payday communication in the form of a directional memo. I let them know the numbers, where we stand, and how to keep safe while on the job. I also have let them know that I have spend my own money to get them the proper supplies. They appreciate knowing that, and they react positively. In my last sites outbreak, starting election day…I had 2 staff initially get sick…the rest stayed on and worked with masks, shields, rain coats (PPE) and gloves. No one else got sick.

So to make a long story short Sneaky…I make my decisions based largely on the daily flow of new positive tests vs New Tests…and even more importantly the Rate of Transmission/Rt.

If you kind of let your eyes go out of focus there really isn’t a pandemic at all.

You’re not serious. Are you just trolling?

No, you introduced suppositions to confirm your bias.

I evolved. Like Jbiden on mask mandates.

Are you saying Trump didn’t kill 250k people?

I’m not sure what you mean. CA and FL have roughly the same amount of deaths from covid, even though CA has almost twice the population of FL.

That’s the point. Do you tolerate the same risk with the studs as the also rans?

I though accusing someone of Trolling is against TOS?

No - I used facts and numbers to show the OP was incorrect.

Except you made sense before, and now do not.

When did i ever say he did?
