Here’s a nice little bit on Gramsci

" Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity. … In the new order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches, and the media by transforming the consciousness of society."

Replacing the mush in young skulls with stinky poop … and some folks say it isn’t cultural Marxism even though Marxism begat Critical Theory (cultural Marxism) begat Critical Legal Theory begat Critical Race Theory. Different names, same poopy nature.

Good post.

Critical Theory is actually Neo-Marxism.

Is this quote and link supposed to invalidate my previous post?

It does. Fox news didn’t misrepresent anything.

I wonder what you’d say if a majority white organization said “we will research the organizations defending educators doing anti-racist work and/or use the research already done and put together a list of resources and recommendations for state affiliates, locals, and individual educators to utilize when they are defended.”

Wouldn’t that be something.

They sure as hell did…

They claim group recommends teaching CRT in K-12.

That is not what the group said. Sorry. They torpedoed their own talking point in the same article.

Sure, sure.

You need to read the article.

I did and the article title is misleading

No it isn’t.

I understand that you thought you were on to something.

Article title - “Largest teachers union says critical race theory is ‘reasonable and appropriate’ for kids

In the same article… if the reader bothers to go beyond the thread title

Why do you guys always act like the nuclear family is the social unit upon which the United States was founded?

It wasn’t. It was a 1950s thing.

For most of human history, humans have lived in extended units. The nuclear family is a very very recent phenomenon.

And it’s got just as many drawbacks as it does benefits.
