Disney has lost 200 BILLION DOLLARS in Two Years

I think it plays a small role. But it’s not at the core of why people aren’t going to watch Disney films.

It’s the formulaic unnecessary sequels and the lowered production value that is turning people away for the most part.

That and people are just waiting for streaming releases (which are shorter than ever between theater and home) and many people have turned back to the high seas.

This is me.

Very few movies are worth going to the theater for. Essentially if I absolutely need to see it in IMAX, I will go. Otherwise I’ll wait.

Oppenheimer is my next theater movie and the only other one this year was Spiderverse… in IMAX.

Thanks. Is that a good metric?

For popularity, yes

Sorry, but you did not dispel anything.

I said I was disputing that claim…

And merrily marching into the pit of further remake losses.

Now Snow White (whose skin was white as snow) will be played by a latina, and the seven dwarfs will now be made up of mixed sizes and races, and written as seven “magical creatures”.

Yes, you did, but that’s the point, it was an opinion. You did not dispel anything.

It’s not because of woke… which was the claim of the thread.

Why is this a problem?

So you keep saying. :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t troll me.

Go pester someone else. Or at least read a couple of the many sources reporting about this.
