Democrats Declare Emergency Over a Few Thousand illegals Coming to their Sanctuary Cities

MV didn’t declare a state of emergency as far as I’m aware.

No I didn’t and neither did anyone else. But in either case they can’t apply for a green card until one year after approval. So no they can’t work right away. So once again who pays for it?

“you have been granted asylee status, you are eligible to apply for a Green Card (officially known as a Permanent Resident Card) one year after receiving your grant of asylum.Dec 16, 2020”

Calling in the National Guard to deal with their undesirables is the same thing.

You and your fellow taxpayers.

If you’re granted asylum you are allowed to work.

What the ■■■■ ?

Point: Its broken and needs to be fixed.

If that’s the narrative you want to stick with, you do you.

If they can’t get permit to work while waiting I would imagine tax payers, people who give to charity, and sometimes family members.

No, its not. Getting 125 National Guard members to help move migrants to a shelter large enough to handle all of them is not the same as declaring a state of emergency.

I know it really irks a lot of you that they choose house them at a joint base instead of creating a tent city in Obama’s back yard. How dare those dirty liberals move those people to a location better suited for housing them! They’re suppose to suffer, dammit!

So let’s just allow millions of illegal invaders to swarm across the border shouting “asylum” in the multitude of their native languages. That should help with the fixin’

We all will

Doesn’t matter what you were talking about you were wrong anyway. They are not allowed to work for a year after asylum claim approved.

Whoosh

Strawman.

You’re cool with it then?

They can apply for a work permit while awaiting approval for asylum. If approved, they can work. If and when they get approved for asylum, they can work legally. A year beyond that they can apply for a green card.
