I don’t understand why you are mocking me on this. The OP was vague. The city is dealing with large influx of people with no where to stay and the whole point of states of emergency is to allow more flexibility, funds, and less red tape to get these people in shelters. Do you fault NYC for this? Do you think they shouldn’t try to accommodate this influx and just let them sleep on the streets?

If thousands of migrants are being dropped off in NYC, why should they just let their shelter system overflow instead of taking steps to not have these migrants on the streets? As far as the thread topic…I’m all for sending large #’s of illegals to so called “sanctuary cities”. Sanctuary cities are part of the problem…part of the attraction to come illegally to this country. Sanctuary cities have told us “we welcome you…we love all people regardless of their status”.
