Ok i am honestly not knowledgeable of all the gun laws out there but like i said some laws are unnecessary due to the protections offered by the bill of rights. And the constitution. The gay marriage law is similarly unnecessary
What do you mean for a lawsuit? The Twitter files are sufficient to file a lawsuit by any wronged parties for the violation of their civil rights. I would argue they would be helpful in surviving any motion for failure to state a claim.
I have no love for the fbi as has been shown by my countless posts on the subject. All i am saying is that firstly it is unnecessary and secondly this law would not hit the house floor if the gop thought it had a chance of passing. What supports my opinion is that they have not been screaming about this law from every roof top. The hill wrote about it and it got picked up by a few blogs. But there is no massive media blitz. At least not yesterday when i looked. May be that has changed.
I donât disagree with the last part. I absolutely abhor my side of aisle shifting towards censorship. Corporate censorship as well as political censorship.
If the DOJ refuses to hand over anything what can be done? This law could put the threat of jail time behind it. Not just some money from the government, opps our bad.
I would say it shouldnât be but wonât say it is not.
Oh but civilians have been screaming about it. Maybe someone is listening.
Itâs time to start punishing those entrusted with power to support and defend our constitution but use their power to subjugate the very constitution they took an oath to support and defend.
If the doj refuses to hand anything over a motion can be made to disclose. The motion to force the disclosure can be taken all the way to the âconservativeâ Supreme Court.
Yeah thatâs the problem. With the left refusing to protect civil rights in some cases there is nothing to financially back these lawsuits. I was thinking about that when i was posting. Itâs a problem. The aclu needs to wake the bleep up.
Itâs another good argument for the necessity of the law.
