Nobody outlawed the first amendment. The law that the gop passed pretends like it doesn’t exist anymore. Like they start reading the constitution starting only with the second (and sometimes ending with the second) or something.
Right you don’t need another law. You need politicians who will will require the bureaucrats to follow it.
That is what they did by making a law. Sad it came to that.

I don’t think the gop does anything without knowing that it won’t pass. (Not saying dems are any better when it comes to meaningless acts) There is also not a lot of clamoring about the law and its failure.

It’s simply amazing to see Libs in this forum deny censorship has and is occuring from their side when just last year TJ was trying to establish a “DISINFORMATION GOVERNANCE BOARD” under the czarship of the Uber left wing whacko moron Nina Jankowicz.
Someone once said " I may not agree with what you say, but I’ll defend to the death your right to say it." Is there a Lib in this forum who actually understands this?
If we have free speech then we have the right to not only say anything publicly, but use whatever mediums we choose to say things like “MASKS DON’T WORK” or " VACCINES DON’T WORK" or " THE GOVERNMENT IS LYING ABOUT MASKS AND VACCINES" etc., Yet these are some of the very things the “DISINFORMATION GOVERNANCE BOARD” was going to be created for, to prevent any American from saying these things in public.
Our founding fathers believed Americans have the right to relay and receive information freely and use their intelligence, common sense and intellectual integrity to discern what’s true for themselves, and that crackpots spewing stupidity and hate would be relegated to insignificance by their own words and actions. But since Libs have little intelligence and zero common sense or intellectual integrity, their truth truth being created by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of their leaders, they are able to exist in an information vacuum that insulates them from reality.
Gosh, I hope my first amendment right to free speech isn’t censored here because some people may be offended…

The second amendment protects against infringement of the right to bear guns. Many of the gun laws you just mentioned violate the 2nd amendment and should be repealed. The gun laws you mention don’t provide additional protection against the violation of 2nd amendment rights.
In this case the citizens whose rights were effected by the censorship have standing to sue for violation of their civil rights. They have this standing Without this law……
The gop would have done nothing had they thought this would pass. Imo of course.
This is a good example. However the gay marriage law is completely unnecessary as well.
The Constitution has become a suggestion.
