Why the need to keep comparing this to other viruses?
Do you go to a breast cancer patient and tell them “Don’t panic, Brain cancer is worse and kills more people!”

Before the outbreak my children’s doctor was imploring us to get the kids shot records because we just moved…old Vietnamese doc, railing on about 80 thousand deaths that can be prevented with a flu shot.
Just because we’ve become numb to people dying of certain reasons doesn’t mean that we should take actions to lower the amount of people who die from preventable causes.
How many people do you think have caught the flu this season?

They are both respiratory viruses. They transmit the same, have the same symptoms and are treated the same. Neither one is a video game.
