the virus is killing as many americana every day as 9-11did
and we spent almost 20 years at war due to that

As a pandemic goes on the measured case fatality rate goes down?

You’re KIDDING.

Wow…what STUNNING NEWS.

And you think it’s because of something we are doing?

How many degrees did you say you had in this subject again?

and the flu kills nearly ten times that number in a decade.

In 2017-18 the flu killed 60-80,000 and nobody noticed.

That was a disease we were supposedly ready to fight with a vaccine and effective anti virals.

Nobody played with the numbers. They get revised over time as new data comes in. In this case the number was revised in November. The data was out there, you just pulled old newspaper articles from before the revision was made.

Of course they played with them nearly a full year after they had the final numbers a year after that season.

Note the January 2019 date stamp.

Obviously the November revision was because the CDC had been tipped off a new respiratory virus was coming and they had to make it look worse than is actually was going to be.

So the CDC had to downward revise the flu numbers for 2018-19…otherwise the Deep State would never be able to get away with tanking the economy and enslaving everyone in order to get rid of Donald Trump.

Makes perfect sense, right?

2017/2018 and 2018/2019 are still subject to revision. It’s no secret, the CDC says that on the page I linked to.

We should go to war with China then.

Still going with the “just like the flu” argument.

A bad flu season kills 80,000 with no social distancing, no extreme measure, effective treatments and a vaccine.

Covid-19 is once again estimated to have at least 100,000 deaths in a matter of months after extreme measure have been put into place.

It is just all so stupid.

It’s fascinating isn’t it?

How many has it killed in Taiwan? Did they ruin their economy?

Are you trying to say that our government didn’t do enough?

Are you leaping to government as the solution to every problem yet again?

Well. It appears the government in Taiwan took swift and direct action in order to curb the spread.

Did you read anything about what they did? I started a thread.

Why do you keep saying 60-80,000? The latest estimate is 61,099. And that was an entire flu season. We had more confirmed covid deaths in the month of April than the entire estimated 2017-2018 flu season. Do you know how many confirmed flu deaths we had in 2017-2018? 15,630.

Exactly. NYC has on average 2,000 flu deaths a year. They’ve had about 9x that in COVID deaths in a single month.

The govt. of Taiwan had an aggressive track and track program in price immediately.

Flu killed 9,470 in Texas in the 2017-18 season.

Covid has killed 889 in Texas.

I don’t live in New York City.

Sadly, you are reporting about 800-1000 cases a day, and that trend is ticking up. I’m sorry, but you guys are not out of the woods yet. You are NJ in early April.
