I’m not trying to justify this judicial decision–I’m already on record saying I think it’s a mistake. I’m just enjoying the karma and Trump’s hypocritical crying about it.

That metric doesn’t support that claim. Of course it was used under Trump as well. And “secure” is a feeling, not a fact.
The thing about the illegals is where they come from is critically important. Mexicans are one thing. Everybody else is a different thing.
And what is being done after the encounter is immensely important.
Remember “catch and release.”
Dispostion is the bailey. Encounters is the motte.

Politically, bumping Trump out of the race is a strategic blunder on the scale of… probably ignoring intel right before Pearl Harbor.
