“What kind of a lawyer would tape a client? So sad! Is this a first, never heard of it before? Why was the tape so abruptly terminated (cut) while I was presumably saying positive things? I hear there are other clients and many reporters that are taped - can this be so? Too bad!”

I think the real question is…

What kind of client would have a lawyer that tapes his client?

Also, what were the “positive things” that were cut off in the conversation about paying to kill the story about his affair with the the playboy bunny? Did it cut off the part where he talks about how much time he spends volunteering at the soup kitchen?

With a straight face, tell me that you would think there was “nothing to talk about” if Obama had had an ongoing affair for a year, then made a secret plan with his lawyer to create a shell company to pay 150 K to hush the story up by getting the National Enquirer to take her story and then hide it- all a couple months before the 2016 election. And that the lawyer taped the conversation because he knew it was incriminating and then “leaked” it to CNN.

Mmmm…womanizing is not the main issue here…paying out 150 large to create a shell company to hide the story a couple months before the election is the story. All while being taped by your personal lawyer who then leaks it to the press. Again John Edwards faced criminal charges and was literally disgraced for this a short 10 years ago.

The key aspect of the John Edwards case is that they couldn’t prove that he knew about the 700 K funneled to pay off his mistress Rielle Hunter.

In this case there are literally tapes and likely corroboration by Trump’s personal attorney that money was funneled for a payoff that was an illegal campaign contribution that was not reported to the FEC. It doesn’t look good.
