I understand all that I am not referring to the wrongs or rights of the W.H.O. The answer I have been searching for was why after China knew the virus was contagious did they tell the W.HO. it wasn’t and then locked down Wuhan, not allowing anyone to leave the city by foot, car, or plane but they still allowed people to leave internationally for over a month?

It seems like and important missing piece of the puzzle, or perhaps I just haven’t ran across the answer yet.

This is also the admin protecting the downside as they keep revising the deaths upwards from their earlier projections.

Its a sad visual to see this administration touting “Only 50K to die? That’s excellent.” to “Only 70K to die? Still excellent!” to “Only 90K to die, still excellent!”

I wish that with this prediction increase would force governors and this administration to evaluate why there’s the predictive increase and try and figure out the best scenario to reduce that number.

If you think of them as fetuses instead of people would that help your visual any, or is 60 million dead still excellent??

That’s pretty ■■■■■■ and should have a hard response globally if China knew the virus was contagious and after locking down the Hubei province so its country wouldn’t get sic, allowed people to travel internationally and infect the rest of the world. This is a natural culling of the sick and weak and we have seen it every year since history began. That’s simply a fact.

Anything we do to mitigate it is simply fighting nature and nothing we can ever do will stop new outbreaks of severe respiratory syndrome cause by newly emerging pathogens. At best we can hope to build dams that control it most years that have a big spillway for the new outbreaks we will always be unprepared to fight when they first emerge.
