CBO Projects $3.7 Trillion Deficit

I know. And then you© cheered it.

Someone doesn’t know how budgets work

Nice projection at the land owner in the conversation. lol

You have to have extra money to make that choice. Too bad we never have it under GOP presidents

Well, the problem is, with COVID, even with the economy ‘open’ it’s not going to really be back to pre-covid levels.

And natural resource demand is ■■■■■■■ It’s just not going to be there.

This is just a total and complete global ■■■■■■■ ■■■■ show.

This is not trump’s fault.

But what he should be doing right now is spending all his energy and his time and our money developing a robust testing and tracing program so we can show the world how to live in the COVID era. SO we can be leaders and approach an ‘open’ economy first.

Instead he’s tweeting about the Lincoln Project and wasting his energy and our time and money on dreams of flipping a switch and making things good again.

Really, it’s a personality flaw that stems from his entitled life. He’s never had to really work for anything.

I haven’t looked for a while but that sounds about right.

First two years he was faced with the meltdown of the century. You think he deserves the blame for that?

And despite that - this is the part you can say - he cut the deficit in half, unlike his GOP predecessor and follower, both of whom blew theirs up.

I support how Utah is doing it. Three stage system. Stage three was only essential business open, drive through only for food. We have move to stage 2 where non essential businesses are starting to open, and you can actuall go eat at a resturant again. Things continue good, then stage 1 where more things open. That goes well, then back to normal.

I did NOT support stay at home orders. I supported the encoragement to do so. I do not, and did not suppor things like this:

On Tuesday, Kimberly Kim Tien, a 34-year-old visitor from Las Vegas, and Edwin Htun, a 33-year-old visitor from Sydney, were arrested after a hotel manager turned them in for violating emergency rules. Since March 26, trans-Pacific passengers coming into Hawaii are required to follow a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine, which doesn’t even allow them to leave their lodging to buy food or groceries.

Then they were kicked off the island.

The couple was located Wednesday following a manhunt. Law enforcement escorted them to the Daniel K. International Airport Wednesday night to ensure their departure on a California-bound flight.

The couple’s airfare home was not paid by the Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii because it was determined that they had the means to pay for their own flight.

So – do you support going THIS far?

No due process of law in any of that!

No big (D)eal when you© do it.

Panic comes at a price.

No I don’t support locking people up in jails. Kind of defeats the purpose of distancing

Good thing we have a solid leader to calm the panic

Hopefully by next summer it will be. Depends on how hard the virus hits again this fall/winter, and how bad government reacts/over reacts.

No. This is the meltdown of the century. Probably the millennium. You think Trump deserves the blame for it?

You’re still panicky.

Partially, yes. Why wouldn’t a POTUS be partially responsible for a long term nationwide panic?

How about a MANDATORY quarantine where you can’t leave for any reason including groceries or such?

How about a law enfocement manhunt for someone who does?

How about being kicked out of a state (being a us citizen and all)?

So, to review, which presidents of the last 5 have reduced teh deficit?

He didn’t panic. Is '08 partially Obama’s fault?

Well we are straying from the thread topic, but to first question, that needs to be data driven. For your other 2, my response is no

In review, the deficit being reduced is what matters because a democrat was in office when it happened (with a GOP House and Senate). That’s why when your(C) team doubles the debt, it’s perfectly OK, because that one time with that convicted sex offender.
