I don’t know about “the left”, but in general, these are good people, many have lived and contributed to their community (i.e. neighbors) for years. In terms of who’s built this place, who’s invited to weddings, who plays and coaches youth soccer, who keeps an eye on your house while you’re on vacation, these people aren’t “them” they are “us”.
