Bob Mueller speaking at 11 A.M

Have you read it or just a partisan summary? Because if you read even the beginning of it you know he says there were things but he could not exonerate him.

Your whataboutism is noted.

The only reason the President of the United States is not facing an indictment is likely because he is the President of the United States. Seems like a great person to spend copious amounts of time, and what remains of your integrity and dignity, defending.

Do you demand it from your own?

I agree. They should stop fiddle farting around. Either do it or not. Weā€™re tired of the babble. The dems have done nothing but complain. Your anger should be towards them.

And how would that have stopped Mueller from indicting co-cospirators?

Look at all the other Trump circle they brought charges against. So why no obstruction charge on the co-conspirators?

No, he specifically said the regulations are intended to allow them to investigate (or ā€œconsiderā€) the crimes, but that he canā€™t charge the President based on the results of the investigation due to DOJ policy. He did go out of his way to say that he was UNABLE to exonerate him of obstruction, and would have if he could have.

At the end of the day this corrects the false narratives pushed by Trump and his followers, but itā€™s still all about 2020.

We have far more information today than we did in 2015-16. Itā€™s far more egregious that today we still have the President believing there was no interference. Itā€™s ridiculous

And investigation isnā€™t to exonerate someone, itā€™s to show they have committed a crime. Presumption of innocene and all. You know, what he said at the very start of the presser.

It can be, yes. Iā€™m not saying we shouldnt look put for our own interests. Iā€™m saying save the outrage over the game of international politics that we willingly and brutally play.

Do we have multiple Presidents of the United States serving at once?

Looking back, I think the Obama administration should share some responsibility as well.

Because none of them carried out obstruction?

Whatā€™s even more ridiculous is the dems failure to do anything other than complain. Have they frustrated you yet?

Yes, they should. However, Iā€™m less interested in the pointing of fingers and more interested in the taking of action to prevent a reoccurrence.

If you enter an investigation under the guideline that you canā€™t charge someone with a crime no matter what you find, but make it clear that if you believed no crime had been committed you would have made it public knowledge, what is the logical conclusion to reach when you donā€™t do that?

Agreed. Mitch McConnell too with the crap he pulled.

Iā€™m lost on your reply.

The report gives the same points on some co-conspirators of obstruction as the president.

Mueller said in the presser he had full authority to being charges against anyone (other than the president.) Yet not a single charge of a co-conspirator in obstruction.

THAT should tell you something.

Perhaps, but we all know the same bad faith Republicans pointing fingers at him now for not doing enough would have absolutely savaged him had he tried to do more. He would have been accused of tipping the scales in favor of Clinton. Hell, Trump and his people were already pushing the narrative that the election was rigged up until the moment he won the thing.

Thatā€™s a poor response. Is it, or is it not to hypocrisy to be outraged at someone elseā€™s conduct while you are engaged in the same?
