And the only way they can’t get to that 7% number is if they weight a 2 person protest in rural Idaho the same as a night in Kenosha.

Are you asking for some sort of per capita protest violence metric? If a protest with 100 people has one act of violence that should could as 100? Whereas if a protest with 20 people has 100 acts of violence that should count as 20? Any act of violence should be attributed to all who attend?

I actually don’t know the correct answer to the question. But i do know the way it is being reported is stupidly misleading.

Just remember, “good people on both sides”… your side has been excoriating the right for that statement for years, even though the violence there was perpetrated by a small percentage of people in attendance. Yet now are trying to argue the exact opposite in the case of BLM.

I wouldn’t say May 2020 - August 2020 is very narrow. It includes nearly 7,750 demonstrations linked to the BLM movement across more than 2,440 locations in all 50 states and Washington, DC.

I don’t have the numbers… But I’d be curious as to how the percentage would change if you didn’t use protests that had less than 20 attendees.
