Biden releases 'gender equity' plan that calls for eliminating cash bail

Really, was that before or after being arrested?

How about the guy who went in with stage 1 cancer being controlled by meds for years, but those meds were withheld from him for over 8 months of his incarceration. It took a court order for him to get out on bail for medical reasons and now he has stage 3 cancer.

Murderers on death row get better treatment then what the Jan 6 trespassing and parading political prisoners are getting from the dictator Democrats.

You agree with being held in jail, before due process, because you may not have the money to wait outside of jail for your trial?

As I said, that was all I could find. I don’t have any quotes or speeches by him to say if I agree or not.

Here’s what he said. Do you agree?

“Americans should be able to expect fair and equal treatment under the law regardless of how much money is in their pockets or how many connections they have.”

remember the narrative and talking points.

you both are right… this is another conundrum.

Do you agree or disagree?

The vacation was allowed after arrest awaiting trial.

As far as the jail conditions… yeah they are terrible.

They have been terrible for decades.

I am glad that people are noticing this.

I welcome this new found support in making it so the incarcerated are held in humane conditions.

I agree that justice is supposed to be blind which is the first half of the sentence.

The second half does not apply nor should it apply to criminals who put lives or livelihoods at risk.

In my day, as a 7 year old, I was beaten so badly first by a teacher, then the principle that one of my ribs were broken. Yeah, that taught me.

Terrible compared to what?

Once “equity” rears its head in a discussion it becomes about one’s identity group instead of one’s actual conduct. The accused are individuals. They should be treated according to their individual accused offense and individual criminal record, period.

Wow- so sorry to hear that.

Sounds like a horrible individual experience. I hope your parents called the police and pressed charges.

Do I agree with your notions and narratives, nope.

They’re black.

Blacks commit crime at a higher statistical rate than other demographics, so they get arrested more, so they get jailed more, so they get exposed to COVID more.

So it’s because they’re black. Just ask BLM.

I will see if I can find it, but a lot of the Jan 6 detainees sued about their conditions and even though their conditions were terrible by any standard other than Federal, all that they ended up proving was that they were actually getting better treatment.

“Speedy Trial” is not affected by bail. It’s a problem with the court system.

Maybe BLM could start using some of their donated millions to lend bail money to those who can’t afford it.

then they would not be able to use it for their real estate investments… BLM needs a complete audit.

Things like calling the police wasn’t done back then.
