This is exactly what the Dems are doing to the political prisoners of Jan 6th.
We hear the word insurrection but most are being held for trespassing and parading and some for destruction of property and there isn’t a single one charged with anything more when they finally get their day in court. It’s hideous!
And this equity plan is even more hideous and exposes the Dems as the real threat to our nation.

+10 Thank you for pointing out to the brother that he is about as wrong as Sotomayor on her COVID kid numbers. She was 95% wrong. I think the brother may be more inaccurate than she was. Brightness can only be defined if the the light bulb has enough energy to make it work properly.

January 6th is a demonstartion that went completely wrong by a few of the people who went to Washington DC. Most all the people who showed up were only wanting to show their free speech opinions. then a bunch went too far. I still wonder how many “under the cover” federal law enforcement officers were in the crowd. The real dip ■■■■■ stood out. And then we have an unarmed protester get shot and killed by a senior federal officer who should not have been in the area and should not be carrying a weapon. He may have failed the stress tests and shoot don’t shoot scenarios. I would like to see his training records.

I’m really baffled by the conservative response to bail reform. So I have to agree with you… they don’t like it because a lib suggested it.
But in a different thread they will argue that holding Jan 6th protestors to high or no bail is wrong.

Sadly this is the way of things.
I feel heartened by the fact that conservatives are starting to move away from the idea of incarcerating millions in our endless Drug War. Most true conservatives understand that jailing millions is a serious overreach of the State. Bail reform is an extension of this movement. But yes- partisanship trumps all these days.
Yes- he and Harris proposed Bail reform and yes it’s about assessing risk. Do you agree with him?
