Upon further examination. There isn’t a law requiring the limitation of speed in the US. It’s an agreement between German and US that cars they import are limited.

The lib approach is to disarm the law abiding. Chicago gang members would still have theirs for example.
They don’t know who among them have guns because they most likely obtained them illegally and there would be no paper trail to them even owning a gun.
Gang members would likely appreciate the libs disarming the law abiding however.
