Another mass shooting

As a follow up:

Know how many of the mass shootings that used an AR15 got them through the gun show loop hole, or illegally in general?

Zero… all passed the background check.

Know how many would have succeeded in purchasing their AR15 if the government wasn’t already incompetent at its duties?

One… the Las Vegas shooter. The Parkland shooter, and this guy should have failed their background check, except our government is already incompetent.

Laws are what defines criminal behavior, they don’t and never have prevented crime.

If there were no laws there would be no criminals. Conversely, if there are more laws, there will be more criminals.

Is that what you’re shooting for?

Where is that in the Constitution? Are there some secret footnotes that only you know about?

Not exactly. If you ban AR15s, it won’t stop criminals from killing people.

But it will make criminals out of people who never shot and never would shoot anyone, if they refuse to give up those guns.

Again … more laws; more criminals.

Clearly she is a racist. … and a hypocrite of major proportions.

Freedom is scary.

So apparently then, you think crime is okay as long as the criminals are punished, right? Hasn’t murder been a crime punishable by years of imprisonment up to death for centuries? Has it stopped murders from being committed? Will making the weapon that a very small number of them use illegal stop murders from being committed?

The left talks about implementing “common sense” gun control laws, yet they apply zero common sense to their rhetoric when proposing them. Go figure.

I don’t understand why you should be disappointed. That has never been our response to emotional idiocy like this.

It’s in the same place as where it says that you can’t yell fire in a crowded theater I think.

Crime is not ok but laws give us a means to deter and to punish.

You think that the goal with banning AR15s is to stop murders. That is not the goal as you pointed out.

The goal is to reduce the risk of mass shootings. Just like seatbelt laws were out into place to reduce car accident fatalities

A lot of talk about “waiting periods”. We had them - 3 days. Boulder Boy went 6.

Waiting periods were designed to stop one problem - heat of the moment rage/jealousy. And it didn’t stop it.

This guy waited 6. 4 more or 10 more wouldn’t have made any difference.

No.

Again no. You think/feel you will reduce the number of casualties. You will not reduce the number of incidents.

Sure.

Seatbelt laws?
