Maybe if chic fil a put that lady, who refused to give marriage licenses to gay couples, on their cups or bags, it would be the same as Budweiser?

well, thats not what former bud light drinkers are doing

by and large they just dont want it anymore. no “active campaign” no intent to “negatively impact”

just being chased away from the product

You should post that in this thread:

Or this one:

There is/was an active campaign.

a select few perhaps.

not enough to cost 20 bil+

most just quietly chose another.

you lost your focus. and argument

nice try

no, major players. Matt Walsh, Hannity, Candice Owens, Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro

They all did segment after segment, tweet after tweet. They are the reason why conservatives even knew who Dylan was. The cans never made it in stores. Conservatives don’t follow Dylan on tik tok.

It’s cancel culture because the right has collectively decided to boycott the product.

Twist, dissemble, and weasel all that you like, but that is the plain truth.

Wow, what an epic thread.

Seems like conservatives knew what cancel culture meant in 2021… what happened?

mentioning it on a news show does not constitute an “active campaign”

owens? shapiro? charlie kirk?….lol. in other threads these guys are “losers” and have a very small audience.

bud light drinkers on the whole dont even have any idea who these people are

such narratives

When liberals do it it’s cancel culture, when conservatives do it it’s consumer choice. It makes sense if you don’t think about it too hard.

no bud light drinkers have singularly decided to reach for something else

no speeches, active campaigns, social pressure etc

Because cancel culture is what the left does. The right identifies those who are deemed to have acted or spoken in an unacceptable manner and ostracizes, boycotts, or shuns them.

See the difference?

It was an ad campaign, for gosh sakes.

Campaigns, like many tried against the NFL die out. A change in customer choice does not die out in the short term as people go on to other projects.
Budweiser is finding the difference.

Is it the same difference as between black listing where writers were fired for supporting communists and corporate choice where Disney fires actors for not supporting gay and lesbian activism?

Big difference
