The Ukraine is his native country, he’s been offered the job of Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
Can’t imagine why anyone would think he might have a conflict of interest and an inherent bias can you?

A non-serious offer which Vindman refused. His family didn’t flee the Ukraine. They fled the Soviet Union. He’s as American as anyone can be.

His family are Jews, who were persecuted by the communists. I would be shocked if he has any love or loyalty to the post-Soviet cronies in charge of the Ukraine.

He was working for the US government because he is trusted.
A, no he wasn’t, his supervisors had serious doubts about his judgments, his skipping the chain of command, and concerns about him being a leaker.

He was supposed to be working for the administration specifically to task the military with missions to support Trump’s FP in Ukraine.
In reality, he was using the position to leak and to help the Ukrainians work the system to get more US tax dollars and direct military aid.

Is the CinC infallible, by virtue of their position alone? Is that how you felt about your COs during your time in service? Do you believe that there is no such thing as an “illegal order”?

Sure there is. What was the direct order to LT Col Vindman that was illegal? please provide a link to his transcript were he states this order.
