Yes, someone here is living in the past, but it’s not me. But I also I know the history, so I know what took place between the start of WWII to the end of the Cold War in eastern Europe has virtually nothing to do with what’s happening in Ukraine today. Putin is on new ground.
Ok.Samm. we are on opposite sides of war and killling / injuring innocent civilians. I think the EU/NATO/ and western colonialism poked the Bear through this proxy (Ukraine.) Where and how it ends i hope all y’all arms centric warhawks are happy with yourselves.
Remember, it takes two to tango.
Ev’rybody’s talking 'bout
Putinism, Zskyyism, Dragism, EUism, Natoism, socilalism
This-ism, that-ism, is-m, is-m, is-m
… All we are saying is give peace a chance
All we are saying is give peace a chance
… All we are saying is give peace a chance
All we are saying is give peace a chance
… Let me tell you now
… All we are saying is give peace a chance
Why do you continually mischaracterize what I post? I have never said anything to remotely suggest that I am pro war. I hate war. I hate this war. I wish Putin had not started it and I wish he would quit and go home, even if we have to listen to him falsely declare victory when he gets there. But I’m damn well not going to remain silent when history is revised by some to justify the Russian invasion or any of their other paranoid threats and accusations. Russia had the chance to be prominent contributing member of the world community. But Putin blew it.
Samm it takes two to tango… besides putin others helped start it. Poke the ■■■■■■■ Bear and marginalize diplomtic soutions.
If Trump.were the prez, we would not be debating this chaotic situation.
Yes it does … which is why Ukraine is fighting back and NATO is supporting them. Nobody pushed Putin to attack. He did that for their own selfish megalomanic, egotistical, political purposes. Quit making excuses for him.
I am not, my friend.
When you say we (or NATO) provoked him, that’s precisely what you’re doing. NATO poses no offensive threat whatsoever to Russia as long as they don’t do things like invade their neighbors. Those countries in Eastern Europe who have joined NATO over the last couple of decades did so precisely for that reason … to keep Russia from doing to them what they did to Ukraine. All Russia has to do to get along with their neighbors is to play nice. Seems like Putin (like all bullies) can’t be trusted to do that.
Russia should join NATO
warmongers? Nope, I want to stop the warmonger, you want him to succeed
Russia should join hell
Through war. And you would rather give aid to ukrraine than our people
Spare me Bro.
Russia loses 4 aircraft in one day, incl two immediately after takeoff
(like the good guys were waiting for them.)
NATO should be getting Taiwan to join asap. Get ready for the party.
Japanese Foreign Minister Yoshimasa Hayashi expressed concern Saturday about Russian and Chinese military cooperation in Asia and said the security situation in Europe could not be separated from that in the Indo-Pacific region since Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
It will be interesting to watch Russia’s next move. This powder keg proxy war could erupt beyond our wildest imaginations.
It may end up being a full blown war between nato and the new “axis of evil.”
Or china/iran/dprk/et al . may withdraw support to punkin putin.
At least the One Horse Dog Face Pony Soldier Show is doing great job with global relations. When Joe is done, we should vote for Hunter as his predecessor on chief
Diplomatic and negotiated peaceful solutions are passé, wouldn’t you say?
China is not going to war over Russia.
“Full blown war between nato and the new ‘axis of evil.’”
So who are Russia’s allies in this “full blown” war? Given that Russia is currently bogged down with all it can handle in Ukraine, who’s NATO going to fight and who (in turn) is going to resist NATO?
It’s a very shaky situation.
China is closer to Russia than portrayed.
Russia funded and equipped Mao and never let China forget this.
Western Ukraine.
