Will the postal union decide the election?

Now let me see. There is a pandemic. More people will be voting by mail. There will be an increase in the volume of mail to be processed in the lead-up to the election. Is any of that unforeseen?

Now that there is not a fact.
When Obama was President I mailed a check to pay a concrete bill to a company in a border state. Should have arrived in 3 days or less. Guess what it arrived 6 months later.
And this is not the only time this happened in the past 10 years or so.
If I mail a letter to someone in my own country it has always taken 5 days. Should be delivered the next day.

Why keep repeating this fairy tale. The USPS has always been poorly run.
This is the reason I never mail signed contracts that have to arrive on time.
I use Fed Ex or UPS. These companies deliver on time every time.

Who is watching the guys picking up the mail all day? And finding out which areas vote predominately one way or another is child’s play.

Yes. In Pennsylvania the 2016 vote in Philadelphia was over 80% for Clinton. In some of the more rural counties, the vote went 65-70% for Trump.

Simply delaying the mail based on the origin of a ballot could decide a close election.

Which is why everyone is alarmed with Trump cutting back USPS capacity right before an election that promises to have more than usual mail-in voting.

What a bunch of crap! The USPS was run fine my entire life until this orange moron decided it was a threat to his election.

Can’t imagine why anyone would scale them back, unless they live here in 202o and know there is a lot less mail volume then there used to be. Notice,I didn’t send this response through the mail, that’s a clue.

The Democrats have closed all the poling places in several states.

Politico warned about the risks of late ballots and litigation back in April:

You’re not familiar with B’rer Rabbit, are you?

No they haven’t. That is in no way true

I thought southern DEMs closed like 1200 polling stations since the 2013 SCOTUS decision.

It’s almost as if the first post was projecting

Do you need the same number of polling places after you adopt early voting as you needed before?

Federal judge has ordered a redo of vote in City Council race due to fraud. Hundreds of ballots were located in a few mailboxes. The city council decided not to count 800 ballots.

There will be no national redo.

Looks like postal workers are backdating late ballots in Michigan:

Count every vote!
