Yes, such a straight talker that the principles of “seriously-not-literally” and “alternative facts” (both coined by Trump supporters) had to be invented to rationalize his endless lying, equivocation, verbal crutches, and malapropisms.
I can absolutely assume. Yes it’s my claim because i am assuming.
You know kind of like when somebody tells you they have friends in an industry the sarcastic response of sure sure is a claim that what that poster is saying is not true because we all assume and then accuse. Directly or indirectly. I was a bit more direct.
You have no evidence that the poster doesn’t have friends or relatives in an industry….
I am not sure what your point is
I accused because i don’t believe, just like i don’t believe the whole “won’t someone think of the children” in reference to the Supreme Court nominee. It’s virtue signaling. Nothing more nothing less.
The mere existence of those weapons pointed at us makes them a threat. Same goes for the Russians in regards to the United States. We both have had knives at each other’s throats since the 1960s when they reached nuclear parity. It impacts how we view each other, how we talk to each other, how we deal with each other. It’s the elephant in the room that clouds every American-Russian dealing.
BUT it’s only an active threat if something goes horribly wrong on one of our ends. If one of us make a horrible mistake or do something insanely stupid. So I would call the Russians a “passive” threat for the most part. Other than their nuclear force, they’re mostly a gas station at best. A gas station that can’t even function without Western assistance on software.
Whereas China is an active threat currently and will be for the entire 21st century assuming they don’t collapse under their own weight. Russia is a member of SCO with China but they don’t decide the policy. Xi Jinping decides the policy of their alliance. So Xi Jinping and the CPC are our greatest active threat. They’re challenging us all over the world, including in our own hemisphere. They also have a habit of threatening two of our closest allies, Japan and South Korea.
