Why is democratic socialism bad?

It was found in notes he kept shortly after his death and was printed in 1953. On September 17, 2013 it was attributed as a quote he did make.

Go to the Monticello website for all things Jefferson. They do a great job.

And citizens are part of the united states.

No, they aren’t. The states are. But you have a nice day.

So you are not a citizen of the united states of America.

Go study. Educate yourself. Become wiser.

So since I’m a citizen of MI then I would need a passport or something to go to a different state.

No books in Michigan?

What are you inferring by that remark?

The Democrat Party Leadership’s offer for free government cheese is really not free. It first addicts and then enslaves participants on an iron fisted socialist run plantation.

If you relocate to a different state you have to get a drivers license in that state, tag your car in that state, when I was in the service I had to vote on a absentee ballot in my home state, the only constant is your American Citizenship. The federal government governs the states, the state governments govern the residents of that state.
That’s why we’re here right now, we have state leaders that have decided to ignore federal law like California who in theory wants to be removed as a state but wants a to bite both sides of the apple, they want they’re independence, but still want federal $$ like a state.

The fact is that no system is perfect and there are pros and cons to each:

The US even with all its flaws is consistently rated as one of the best places to live:

Furthermore any significant economic change will produce winners and losers, just look at the ACA. The question is weather our dysfunctional government won’t just make things worse for many in the middle class.
