Occasionally, I will take a look to see if they have decided to become competitive. After five or ten minutes, they have answered the question. It’s pretty much one topic. Who hates Trump the most. They put me to sleep and I move on. Remember, I did not claim that I never watch a minute of CNN. But it wears thin pretty quick.

i used to do this too until i started kicking the tv off the stand. but they were always bad back to Reagan even. one minded leftists, with their own agenda.

I didn’t mean to make it about you, my post was poorly worded. I meant that CNN (and cable news in general) sucks and shouldn’t be watched, in my opinion. I think people spend too much time fretting about what partisan networks air on a daily basis.

I think FoxNews has an advantage in viewers in that it is the only conservative network. There are no options.

Meanwhile, CNN and MSNBC are perceived (rightly or wrongly) as liberal so they split their viewership.

Here is October viewership

Note that MSNBC and CNN total more that FoxNews. I would guess if a second conservative news channel appeared you would see FoxNews lose its spot as highest in the ratings. It really only enjoys the top spot because it is alone servicing the conservative audience.

1. Topic fatigue:
   They lock on to one topic and rarely stray. They can drone on for hours, days or weeks. Even when no new information has come out.

2. Lack of diversity:
   Nearly all of the commentators and anchors seem to be DNC approved. They are all DNC robutts repeating the same DNC approved lines. Unlike Fox who has many opposing views. At least one FOX anti Trumper has his own hour long show.

3. Their personalities:
   They just are not fun people to watch. A lot of anger and bitterness. Total Debbie downers.

4. They don’t cover all stories:
   They will cover very little information that would not be helpful to the DNC. Major breaking news is often ignored. It’s completely one sided.

5. Jeff Zucker:
   Seriously, how does this man still have a job? If your business model causes you to get thumped year after year by the completion and you insist on not changing that business model? Is he stupid or just hard headed? I guess failure IS an option with Zuck.

6. Dishonesty:
   They take the democratic viewpoint immediately and at face value. Without question. When their DNC approved topics prove to be lies, they don’t do the right thing and walk it back. Examples.

A) Trump Russia.
B) Covington Catholic
C) Hands up don’t shoot.
D) False Devin Nunes/ Ukraine meeting.
E) Immediately declaring the Biden scandal as a non issue. Taking the DNC at their word.
F) The Steele Dossier.

Did I miss anything?

Just watch Netflix or something and chill. Why bother watching something that irritates so much? Just move on from cable news. No one needs it to be informed.
