I did educate myself on it when I want to public school, we where taught about British slavery in the Colonies the sugar plantation were brutal, America was the only place in which slaves death rate was lower then birth-rate.

Are you suggesting that Africans brought to the US as slaves should have been grateful that they did not end up in one of the other European colonies? That kind of thinking is going to get you excommunicated from the liberal brotherhood.

Most plantation tours if they mention slavery at all, only mention it in passing.
