YOU…are complicit in the damage being done to these innocent children. Since you want to quote the Bible…let’s look at what it says about the future of people that harm children.
1Now He said to His disciples, “It is inevitable that [a]stumbling blocks come, but woe to one through whom they come! 2It is better for him if a millstone is hung around his neck and he [b]is thrown into the sea, than that he may cause one of these little ones to [c]sin. 3[d]Be on your guard! If your brother sins, rebuke him;
The trans kid that I know tried to kill himself last year after a few years of confusion and his parents are doing everything that they can to keep him alive.
What is better… a trans kid or a dead kid?
Rebuke all you want… but being kind to kids is pretty easy.
Being terrible to them for being different is the real sin.
Please tell me how is any different? All you are talking about is a psychological condition based on someone’s feelings. Here’s a formal definition of dysphoria:
dys·pho·ri·a
/disˈfôrēə/
nounPSYCHIATRY
a state of unease or generalized dissatisfaction with life.
So what are we really talking about regarding “dissatisfaction with life”? Largely being depressed! Wouldn’t you agree? Depression is absolutely real and there’s numerous reasons people become depressed. Do you believe people are born depressed?
I’ll believe it’s “real” when someone can define these characteristics that can be tested scientifically that determine if a person is trans. One thing that is real, which I fully accept, is the amount of money to be made through the drugs and surgeries!
It is an inescapable fact, that if 500 men and 500 women were transplanted onto an island that can provide sustenance for them, and you come back in 150 years to see how they’ve fared you will find a thriving community of many thousands. But if you transplant 500 men and 500 trans-women, when you come back you will find the remains of 1000 men. While transsexuals do exist, they are an abnormality … a biological (or in most instances, mental) disfunction.
