Who knew that Sweden and Poland would be leading the fight for free speech?

The have a Terms of Service, however.

And the instant that happens, there will be accusations of bias…and real bias.

Trump was banned not because he was a Republican or a conservative, but because he broadcast lies that were inflaming people.

Of course, those who believe otherwise will claim he was targeted, and liberals who post lies and inflame people are let alone.

Without of course acknowledging they are making this judgement not with a statistically sound argument but with anecdote.

And this is my problem with the discrimination argument…the people making it don’t appear to have the slightest clue as to how they would show it.

So they continue to go with anecdote and feelings.

His argument is that since Twitter advertises themselves as a speech platform, they should allow all speech.

I’m just pointing out how ridiculous that is by using the Apple example.

I am sure that if you go on their website and use the product comments section to spout off on anything other than the product that your speech will be curtailed.

Sure…libs do it all the time. Or break into em and rob em clean.

They don’t state it’s a platform for anyone. There is criteria for entry and criteria for staying.

What argument do you think I am making.

From what I am seeing there is one of us who is advocating for private platforms to be forced to carry content that they do not want to and one who isn’t.

Again…you’re ignoring the baker.

First clause of his post. Come on man.

Even if it’s an “organic” conversation?

So if you disagree with public accommodation laws, why advocate for going further?

It makes no sense.

I’m advocating the same rights as gay couple argued did to that baker…or photographer.

Is speech illegal?

So you do agree with public accommodation laws?

And you think that they should be expanded?

Did I misstate his argument?

Again…I’m just pointing out left-wing hypocrisy.

Personally these platform advertise being a public service…unless you don’t meet their fascist demands.

What does this even mean? Speech is speech

Might want to look at their app store ad. They wrote it.

Every voice can impact the world.

your voice makes a difference.

Find like-minded friends or explore interests you never knew you had. Get informed on the topics that matter to you, whether your interests are mainstream or niche.

Sounds kind of “persony” to me. If I can’t get on Twitter, I’ll be ignorant, have no friends and not have a voice.

Simple yes or no.

Should Private platforms should be forced to carry content that they do not want to?

Face it libs…you really don’t believe in free speech.

 You should ask your friends. Or read the Gramsci link I gave you.

There is no hypocrisy.

Even with public accommodation laws… Walmart limits speech on their stores and online.

A service with terms and conditions for use.
