The new update is great. Took a bit of pushing random buttons to figure stuff out but it’s great

Yeah the mobile site is working fantastic now. I was able to create a thread on my phone without wanting to gouge my own eyes out. Absolutely stellar update.
Well, except for the age-discriminatory font size. 
… and the ads inserted between posts.

Yep. Many of them tucked in between the posts. I always had banner ads at the top of the pages, which never bothered me, but this is new with this “upgrade” and it’s annoying.
Not to keen on the font but I will get used to it.
I installed uBlock on my browser a few years back at the recommendation of someone on this board when ads started invading.
It has worked marvelously ever since.

I’m having problems with seeing some uploaded pics. And my avatar went away. I tried re-uplading an avatar pic, but it’s still blank.

Same.
Just reset your browser ad blockers and the ads go away.
Not sure what to do about the font size except increase your screen zoom.
Actually, most avatars are blank for me:
If I scroll over them, most of the blank ones are members who used to have visible avatars before the upgrade.
Definitely time for people to re-upload their avatars.
Before i reuploaded the avatar. I choose one of the default choices and hit save. Then uploaded the avatar and a hit save again
