White Nationalism is a cancer, it should be rooted out (non violently)
I know he, and the others, were Nazis. That makes them lower than scum.
That he also murdered someone doesn’t, in any way, make them less than scum.
He’s additionally a murderous scum.

White Nationalism is a cancer, it should be rooted out
I agree. I’ve said so plainly, right in this thread. I hope you found nothing in what I posted to suggest otherwise.

That he also murdered someone doesn’t, in any way, make them less than scum.
And I hope you aren’t saying I have said anything to suggest this.

He’s additionally a murderous scum.
Thus he’s even bigger scum, and as I noted earlier, he got what he deserved.

Saaawwweeetttt!!!
Now, let’s all show up, no matter where they are (internet, public, government) and shout them down.
#RidAmericaOfNazis

Or mock them and make some dough for good causes.

Well, if they’re already in state or federal government…

If you march in a Nazi rally you might accidentally be mistaken for a Nazi.
If you happen to be on the street where a nazi rally is happening, should you be mistaken for a nazi too?
The point has already been argued ad nauseam in this thread, but Antifa was there to riot against the neo-nazis. Should others who happened to be there in opposition to the neo-nazis be mistaken for Antifa rioters?

Kind of depends on whether you’re marching with the Nazis or you’re telling them to go away. Both people are present but only one of them are Nazis.
There is a third person. A person who doesn’t react when they see Nazis marching in the streets. Maybe it is normal or acceptable for them to have Nazis in their streets. While their indifference to Nazis is saddening, it’s not an offense worthy of violence in my opinion.

Are you trying to differentiate between this one nazi and the rest of the nazis? Again?
Fabrication.
I already explained this to you, yet you continue to repeat it.
Post Flagged.
What kind of screwed up consolation prize is this stuff?
Well, they’re all Nazis but only one is a murderer.
Worst consolation prize ever.
It is a completely bonkers distinction to argue over.
What’s wrong with countering fascists?
This place is gonzo bonkers sometimes.

As noted earlier, I leave the rioting and street protests to the younger pups.
I’d rather let the police handle it, rather than what we’ve seen when these two groups get together and mayors call for the cops to stand back. I’d rather see rubber bullets fly and riot police bust up this mayhem. It needs to stop

CaughtInTheMiddle:
actually, your goal in this thread appears to be to separate the neo-nazi who slammed his car into counter protesters and the neo-nazis who didn’t.
That is an outright fabrication. My words have been very clear, and certainly not that.
You do that a lot.
nope. he’s right.

CanadianJudo:
The event was hosted by Richard Spencer he has been the poster boy for White Nationalism for years.
Well it’s clear the woke libs on this board really follow this guy. And white nationalism.
More power to you.
weak.

You really don’t have to be that brave to show up and peacefully protest nazis.

No offense is worthy of acts of aggression…not even being a neo-Nazi.
But the existence of “the third person” is one of the reasons why freedom dies.
Because he doesn’t care until it’s too late.

You do have to be brave if Antifa shows up and tries to use its Platform Denial tactics.
Which is why Heather Heyer was brave and should be remembered that way.
Because she went to peacefully protest against white supremacy already knowing the likelihood of violence was high.
If everyone knew how to keep their anger in check and release it in more creative ways, peaceful protests would work a lot better.

See, I disagree with part of that. There are a million ways to be part of a peaceful protest. You can be on the periphery. You can be holding signs in your cars. You can avoid whatever you want and still get you message across.
The fact that some people are not willing to shout down nazis in their own hometowns is bizarre.
