- The really damning part is that the motivation was for personal gain. That is personal interpretation and cannot be verified. If Trump had said he wanted some fake result regarding Biden so he could win the election then yes, go ahead and impeach. That is not what is shown in the transcript.
Well, there is an official transcript, it’s just that the White House went out of its way to hide it.
This is the latest in a long line of Nothing burgers by the left who have been trying to over turn a legitimate election ever since nov 2016.
This is going to result in one hell of a turnout for Trump next year.

I don’t even know what diligence he is supposed to perform. Tell me, how could he confirm the whistleblowers allegation that the motive was “personal gain”?
But its pretty clear that the whistle blower is referring to the conversation we have already seen. His spin on that is not reviewable.
No one doubts the conversation exists.

Hey, it’s all good. But don’t turn around in a week, a month, a year, or whenever and claim that you never supported Trump, or that he was never a Republican, or that he was a liberal, or I supported Ted Cruz! or whatever stupid, cowardly evasion you’re going to try (as you did in 2008-2009). You’ve built this giant sewage fire, and everyone on the right who enabled it (passively or actively) can carry the stench indefinitely.

Personal gain or not, if what has been alleged is proven, is it impeachable?
Those people who tried to cover up the phone call and the IG report better have good lawyers.
But Michael Atkinson, the person Trump appointed as IG does.
