smart…
The exceptions were fatal flaws?
Found this to better help explain my views.
Some of the founders.
Yeah…Hamilton took the side of Hobbes.
Among others. The ones taught in schools today.
i’ll add that many things are not politically correct enough here now. you can eat a time out if you’re not politically correct about certain subjects.
responsibility to censor?
nope
Sadly…yes.

Sadly…yes.
Who benefits from not teaching children which of the founders protected their individual rights and how they did it?
I wish I could have seen Madison’s face when Mason left.
Who benefits? The state itself.
As for Mason I have to refresh my memory. I do know Madison did 180 degree turn around.

The Hobbesians?
Mason was Madison’s mentor.
Jefferson had a change of heart as well.
If I could go back in time…
Well I know Madison didn’t think BoR’s was needed…Mason gave him earful if I remember my reading history.
Jefferson was on the fence but once Madison turned he was all in.

Again my position has been clear here.
I believe the idea of abortion is extremely sick, that is my view.
But the question is do you want to turn over ultimate control over ones body to the goverment?
That is equally as sick IMO.
Damn, I may be a conservative, because that’s my exact position on abortion as well. I say that as a Christian.
What about Citizens United? I see that as a decision in absolute opposition to the Constitution, and an exercise in the government imposing its will by conferring rights (and power) where none exist.
I don’t call them the Republican party anymore, they’re the Nationalist party.
You know, that’s a good idea. They think Trump calling himself a nationalist is such a good thing, let them own it.
Your wish is granted.
I like that…
The articles of confederacy was a constitution?
Bill of rights is not a second constituition.
The constittion allows for amendments to the constitution, and the first 10 AMENDMENTS were ratified by congress, then the states.
