Try something like Gulden Draak or La Fin Du Monde. You’ll never go back.

There is no style of beer I have not tried. And no style of beer that has not been brewed before by ten different breweries.

Ever had a great Gueze or a nice chewy Altbeir?

Jameson for one. This is an exceptional whiskey, I especially it from the freezer on a hot summer day.

Thanks. I will check those out. I think the Jameson (Irish, not bourbon) may be available here, but I have no recollection of seeing any New Holland brands either in whiskey or beer. Looks like they have both Irish and bourbon “beer barrel” selections.

I picked up a bottle of the Jameson’s “Caskmates Stout Edition” today to give a try. Stand by for results.

I’m not a huge Irish whiskey aficionado, but I rather like the stout barrel aged Jameson’s. Irish is generally a bit harsh for my taste, but the stout flavor comes through subtly and puts a smooth edge on the whiskey. At $10 more per bottle than regular Jameson’s, it’s probably worth the cost.
