There were 261 detainees sent to ES on March 15th. I’m still trying to figure out why LIBs have singled him out to be their poster boy. Why not one of the other 261? Why not all of them? What is so special about Garcia?
At this point it’s like a dog eating its own vomit for dinner. The tattoo is irrelevant, if Bondi investigated and found out he was hauling undocumented people from state line to state line she would nail him for human trafficking! Him doing it for work is irrelevant, the act itself is what constitutes it as a crime. What’s special is they dug a hole defending just him, and now they are exposed and have to dig harder. This is why they go back to a tattoo after refusing to answer anything about what Garcia did. So you want to bring him back, just to throw him in Alcatraz for human trafficking?
Because the governments position on Garcia ISN’T the issue.
He was adjudicated in 2019 in a court to NOT be deported to El Salvador. The Trump administration didn’t challenge the order nor proceed with alternative deporation - in fact they gave him legal work authorization as long as he made his periodic check-ins.
Claims where made against him that the Immigration Judge (Judge Jones) found suspect and that Garcia was creditable. Federal District Court Judge (Judge Xinis) wasn’t even that nice finding the government “evidence” questionable.
The issue with Garcia ISN’T that the governments position might be true, it might not be. The problem is he was ordered not to be deported to El Salvador and the Trump administration scooped him up and shipped him off with no meaningful access to his family, to an attorney, and to judicial review and the ability to challenge the governments claims.
Bring him back, present the evidence in court, allow rebuttal evidence, and the court to rule on the validity of the evidence. If that then means deportation back to El Salvador (because the restriction is lifted) or deportation to a 3rd party country that will take him under 8 USC 1231? That’s cool because the government would be forced to prove its claims.
(Oh and BTW - if returned for a proper haebus corpus hearing that does not mean he would be released, he can still be held in US confinement.)
If he is returned, he will remain in detention pending a hearing before an immigration judge. The hearing will be to determine whether the “do not deport to ES” protective order can be removed. I strongly believe it will be removed and that the immigration judge will order him to be deported.
There is nothing to adjudicate in a court of law.
What claims would that be? The only thing that matters is Garcia is in this country illegally. He can be deported for that reason alone.
You didn’t answer any of my questions, it was a copy and paste of an article. If the evidence is flimsy you should be able to answer my questions right? I don’t put much stock in what liberals feel these days as judges considering they harbor people ordered to be deported. And before the cases got to these judges the Biden DOJ already weighed in on wanting him free, you leave that out. Ever consider to think they gave flimsy evidence on purpose because they didn’t want to prosecute in the first place? You don’t even consider they did this for political theatre to act as if they are enforcing immigration even though it’s a facade? I highly doubt the Biden DOJ prosecution asked the questions I asked of you.
Mr Garcia did the undocumented people you were hauling in that vehicle have a workers visa issued by the US? If the answer is no he admitted to human trafficking by taking undocumented people across state lines. His reasoning for it is irrelevant. It’s not the evidence, the Biden DOJ tried to Throw the case.
Domestic Transporting – Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(ii) makes it an offense for any person who – knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law.
The guy was driving undocumented migrants from state to state on an expired license with no insurance. He said those men worked with him on camera, if they don’t have working papers he committed a felony, it was a commercial vehicle he admitted so on tape, it’s no different then a 16 wheeler hauling undocumented migrants. They are both commercial vehicles. He suffers the same fate as the trucker who doesn’t check his load before taking off.

Abrego was definitely in reckless disregard of the fact. My brother was a trucker for five years, if he took off without checking his paperwork or his load and was pulled over and didn’t know there were undocumented migrants in his truck, he still goes to jail! Why should we treat Garcia different when he’s doing the same Thing? He was instructed to pick these people up according to him. He admitted the vehicle was for commercial use
So try them all then deport or send to Alcatraz? I’m down, but let’s not act like Garcia couldn’t be convicted for trafficking if Bondi really wanted that pursued.
If an Illegal Alien commits crimes in this country DON’T deport him/her. Charge them, present the evidence to a jury, punish them with prison, THEN deport them. That is Due Process.
Sending them to a concentration camp without the ability to challenge the evidence is flat out unAmerican and anyone that support the “ends justifies the means” does not support the Constitution.

Illegal Aliens in this country that have not committed crimes (first offense) are normally handled through defined Administrative Due Process since it’s a non-criminal action and can be deported after screening.
Good for her.
Why do you feel she had to bow down to some prog and answer some stupid question for the prog clowns? No matter what she said you would find something to whine about.
Bidens FBI told them to let him go. The THP called the fbi for guidance. Two hours later bidens fbi called the THP and ordered them to release Garicia and the seven other illegals in the car.
Undocumented migrants! Bidens DOJ was basically ok he was trafficking people. Told THP to ignore it and let him go. If that was a trucker his ass would be behind bars. Garcia said that was his commercial vehicle his boss gave him. He was paid to move those people. If they were working is irrelevant. Let’s not ignore he lied to the THP multiple times on camera.
Yeah let’s not talk about Garcia blatantly violating human trafficking laws. The tattoo man! That’s where it’s at. Dude was driving undocumented migrants across state lines who didn’t have working visas on an expired license, and no insurance. Nothing screams human trafficking larger than that. Ohh it’s ok to have heavily tented windows his boss in Texas said it’s ok and legal. It is not ok and legal lol.
