It’s the unmitigated gall: those who refuse mitigation measures, spread disinformation, and complain at every opportunity, then turn around and try to blame Biden.
It’s calumny over country, and I think it’s shameful.
But to you point: can we please start electing younger people? I am tired of octogenarian rule.
To their credit, the Trump administration didn’t know which vaccine would work the best. So they hedged their bet on ordering from the multiple sources. The list is:
Pfizer-BioNTech: 100 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Moderna: 100 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Johnson & Johnson: 100 million doses (one-dose regimen)
AstraZeneca: 300 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Novavax: 100 million doses (two-dose regimen)
Sanofi-GlaxoSmithKline: 100 million doses (one- or two-dose regimen)
As it worked out, the first two vaccines (Moderna and Pifzer) were ordered. And that was a total of 200 million doses. The Trump administration did set the stage for the purchase of more doses. But they were out of office when the orders were placed. The J&J vaccine was not approved until the end of February.
Now our banana Republic dictator, Stumblin Joe the baffoon, is hinting vaccine checkpoints for domestic travel. That idiotic idea is from our dumbest president in the history of this Republic.
A liberal technique is to deflect and deny until everyone gives up. My son’s used to do that to when they wanted their way. But my son’s outgrew that stage.
So…government shutdowns, vaccine mandates, mandatory testing…these are all overreach, and really, unnecessary because we just have to live with the virus…
